Would CBS's 'Touched by an Angel' flourish in today's world?

Or are we too secular/PC of a society nowadays for this show to do well?

The show ran from 1994 until 2003 on CBS and aired on Sunday night initially then was moved to Saturday night.

It wouldn't be as successful as Touched by a Jihadi, an international murder mystery race against the clock thriller.

But what if a Muslim boy in Texas built that clock and brought it to school?

A terrible show on CBS? Yeah, I'm sure it would last 5+ season on that network.

Meanwhile, a good show on Fox gets cancelled halfway through season 1.

RIP Firefly.

Seriously, I think CBS checked out being creative a long time ago. Which is kind of head scratching considering they own Showtime.

You do realize the ole "bomb in a briefcase" bit is purely a Hollywood thing right?

Was just fixing the fact that the kid from Texas didn't actually build a clock. He took one apart and put it in a case.
