I thought Nola had no sewage n maintenance, damn all that stuff down there.
Some good jump scares, but damn black people talk a lot in movies. (Saw at Perkins Rowe)
I liked it, but the adults in that town are all pretty shitty.
Trying to figure out who had the worst parents. Rape dad excluded.

I'm a tier one platinum member, I have unlimited thread rights.
Actually I was starting a different thread completely about how maybe movies should be almost segregated, because certain minorities have to talk to the movie the entire fricking time, then I realized there is no way that doesn't come off racist. But still, I know I'm not the only one who sees this.
But god damn.

To answer your question, IT has extreme influence over the adults if it so wishes. For example, in the book, IT told Beaverly'father where he can spy on his daughter in such a way that maked her look guilty.
In the book, ev's Dad gives chase and people see him attscking her in the. Idle of the street but due to IT's influence, people just ignore it.
Actually, on the days when the kids go into the sewers, IT had made it so that it is impossible for adults to even see the kids

One can put the blame on a life-draining otherwordly entity that feeds on society and gains its power every couple of decades who will stop at nothing until it's destroyed everything around it with most people not even realizing what's going on.
