The thread title in and of itself should be enough of a spoiler alert right?

Two films that stand out to me are:

1. To Live and Die in LA

2. The Perfect Storm

In the first, I got all emotionally invested in the main character and they decided to kill him at the end. Bad guy wins and love interest falls apart. Unhappy.

In the second, I assumed since it was a true story, that there was some eye witness account from the ship. When they sank and everyone died, I got up and left the theatre I was so pissed.

What y'all got?

That's two for a movie I've never seen. Guess I'll have to watch it.

Cool idea for a movie...but ruined by the end which reveals this really cool numbers matrix to predict the future is just some byproduct of...

Cabin the Woods. Horribly cheesy ending ruined most of the movie for me.

that cheesy, "swing away, merrel" scene. i genuinely enjoyed the movie up until this exact point and wanted to walk out of the theater.

The whole movie sucked to say the least, can't just single out the ending

I'm kinda blanking on decent-good movies with bad endings, so I'll go with The Beach.

I actually really like it as a whole... the ending just doesn't fit in at all with the rest of movie.
