I don't think it was a bad ending, but I think a better ending would have been for it to change scenes before the winner was announced. The point of the movie wasn't about him winning or losing.

I liked the ending of The Mist, it was shocking and completely unexpected and really draws out emotion.

The Life of David Gale and AI probably have the two worst endings I have ever seen.

+1

When the previews first came out I couldn't wait to see it. The movie was o.k. and the end just plain sucked. "The Stand" Mini Series was much better.

My gf and I went to that one afternoon and said the same thing...about the whole movie.

Eye of the Beholder. Didn't really have an ending, it just stopped all of a sudden. But, to be fair, you can't have an ending when you don't actually have a plot.

One of the worst movies I have ever seen. SO bad, that the ONLY thing I remember about it is that it is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

Yeah. I like the concept and the message being conveyed, but the movie is a little too abstract for me. It's still better than trying to read the book, though.

Did you ever watch The Fountain again?

I think I've watched The Fountain 3 times and every time I get interrupted and then lose focus

I would never try to pimp The Fountain. I love it but I don't necessarily think it's a great film. It's missing some kind of down-to-earth component but I can't really figure out why it's lacking. I just really like the music, the emotions of the characters, and the cinematography. It's not something I would just sit down and casually watch, though.

It contradicts the whole theme of the film though.

So the whole point of the story is that Neville is the 'bad guy', the creature of the Zombies' legends that hunts down and kills them all.

Film swings and misses on this.

Hell it doesn't even swing.
