Val Kilmer in Tombstone. I can just hear the effort in every breath. Otherwise, a great film.

Nicole Kidman & Jude Law in Cold Mountain. Awful.

There is a reason Kilmers Doc Holliday is one of the more memorable characters in recent memory, and it's not bc he a crappy accent.
And I think Law and Kidman were both nominated for an Oscar. I think. Either way not bad at all for an Australian and a Brit.

not a big movie, but Dennis Hopper in Ticker, changes from kinda Irish, to Southern, to almost Scottish, to I have no idea. Most of the time it would change in the same scene.

Matthew Broderick in Glory is like nails on a chalkboard.

Star Wars: A New Hope has that one guy who leads the attack against the Death Star who randomly has a Texas accent in space...

Girlfriend made me watch The Box recently (terrible movie from the bits I saw..) anyway... Cameron Diaz in that movie tries to do a southern accent, it was horrendous.

That's the most recent one that sticks out in my mind
