I guess it's the hip thing for people to rally around WW as if the movie is some kind of breakthrough.

I'm all for feminism and equality but Christ why are people acting like this is the first movie that ever empowered a woman or had her in the lead? Rey is about to become a fricking Jedi in the new Star Wars movie. And somebody else here already mentioned all the other badass female role models in film. Like if anything Wonder Woman is super late to the party.

Not that there's anything wrong with it, but aren't you gay?

You really need to quit screaming, "I'm not gay!" You'll make your straight friends nervous. And your gay friends will take it personally.

Do I need to cry about it to my girlfriend? Or is that stuff that only people like you do?

Yes, it is? Ok, good. Because I don't know how I'd live with myself having to defend Ghostbusters because women are so oppressed you guys!

That's a legit heroine, she wasn't going around kicking men's arse... she was just brave as hell and had guts to do what she had to do. Just about all the rest is BS.

I cried a little bit when I was a kid watching Lynda Carter play Wonder Woman on TV...that's how much I wanted to see her boobies.

Aside from the fact that this guy is an incredible pussy if the statement is true (and I suspect it isn't) are we not going to talk about the fact that the girl was saddened she had not seen this "role model" growing up? It's a fricking comic book character! That's supposed to be a role model?

"I was really going through a down period in my life. Then, as I was sitting around contemplating where to go from here, I saw an episode of "Masters of the Universe" and wondered where a guy like He-Man had been all of my life! He was an unassuming guy just like me until provoked. He made me realize that I have the power!

If I had a daughter I wouldn't mind Gal Gadot being a role model for her. Fought with the IDF and stood against the Hollywood leftist.

That's how I took it when I first read it. I assumed he was being sarcastic.

Having a movie character as a role model is pathetic.

The actress who played her? Sure. The director? Sure. The fricking character? frick off.
