I havent watched any of the spiderman movies...I actually dislike most superhero movies.

Venom is a lesser known supervillain to the masses so they can take as many liberties as they want with him because this will be the first time will be introduced to him.
If you ask 100 people who venom is I bet people would think he is a pro wrestler. Ask the same people who Wonder Woman is and they know who she is and how she should look.

I don't know about that. In the ethos of Spiderman, Venom is a pretty important villain, and a pretty major one in Marvel.
And its not so much that Eddie Brock was miscast. Its that they almost got him and Cletus Cassidy mixed up. The Venom in SM3 was more like Carnage than Venom. So if you want to have him be a maddening serial killer, just skip Venom and make him Carnage.

While I agree with the Amazon Princess not being skinny, the Jim Parsons example is stupid.
Jim Parsons is not even mildly in shape to play Thor. Gal Gadot is a very attractive woman with dark hair and dark skin. She is not the body type we know Wonder Woman to be, but she is a lot closer to that than Parsons is to Thor...and it isn't close. Now, Paul Walker (RIP) as Thor would be a closer example.

Wonder Woman is pretty well known character. Venom is not on her level of popularity, but anyone somewhat familiar with spider man is going to know who venom is.

I guess but unless she gets incredibly ripped its going to look ridiculous. It's really not the boobs so much as its her entire body type. She just does not have the look of a woman who would lead her people into battle.
Of course, Warner is the company that was trying to bring us this as Superman so...

WW should be physically imposing.

This is what Wonder Woman is supposed to look like. It is non negotiatable. She has to look the part of an Amazonian woman to look believable while kicking arse. She better hope she looks like this, because if she isn't, she's talking out of her arse.
