Aside from Paris Hilton, i don't see how this undertaking could go wrong.

without knowing anything about the movie, Michael Keaton could be the x-factor in making this movie great

his appearances on snl were pretty great. plus he was brilliant as Beetlejuice.

somewhat related, has anyone seen Game 6? Very underrated movie that he's in with Robert Downey Jr. Available to watch instantly on Netflix

At least he isn't dragging that rarely funny John C. Riley around. Will needs another funny person to play off of.

Plot Summary: Set in New York City, "The Other Guys" follows Detective Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell), a forensic accountant who's more interested in paperwork than hitting the streets, and Detective Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg), who has been stuck with Allen as his partner ever since an embarrassing public incident with his quick trigger finger. Allen and Terry idolize the city's top cops, Danson and Manzetti (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson), but when an opportunity arises for the Other Guys to step up, things don't quite go as planned.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are teaming up in The Other Guys, an upcoming action comedy movie about two second-tier loser cops who grumble about being in the shadow of two other super cops played by Dwayne Johnson The Rock and Samuel L Jackson. Our cops are of course facing a villain, played by Steve Coogan. Eva Mendes and Michael Keaton are also attached to the cast. The film is directed by Adam McKay. The Other Guys movie will be released on August 6, 2010.

Pretty funny since Mark Wahlberg has played some serious cop roles (Max Payne).

On the Paris Hilton note. Saw the Stupid Spoiled Whores episode on South Park last night. Forgot how funny it was when Mr. Slave shoves her up his arse in the "Whore Off". Then they do a little Lemiwinks Tribute.

He's been a cop in a lot of his recent movies....The Departed, Max Payne, We Own the Night, and now this.
