Usually not a good sign when there are no reviews at this point. But I thought I had heard the early vibe from people who have seen it was pretty positive..

The telegraph had a story yesterday and they mention they heard its good. The embargo has lifted in France. They like it. It's not spectacular but it's enjoyable from everything that has leaked. I might hate it but we don't have much really to base all this distrust on.

I feel many people's opinion will be that it's pretty good or okay. I disagree with the guy's sister. Bryce Dallas Howard was great, the CGI had some moments of "meh", and I thought Chris Pratt was decent, but not his usual awesome self.

IGN reviewed it and gave it an 8.3 "Great" review.

The reviews are pretty much what I expected. Entertainment Weekly's review is pretty spot on. Others that pointed out some cheesy moments were correct as well. I'd say a 75-80% is what it deserves.

Early reviews seem to indicate it's a nut filled turd with an over saturation of CGI.

Not just here, but on my Facebook as well, it appears that people are so eager to bash the movie, they are cherry picking the most negative reviews and declaring the film a piece of shite. I guess everyone should just go see it and make their own judgements. I stand by the fact that it was an incredibly entertaining movie that starts a little slow and and intensifies immensely as the film progresses. I'm proud to have worked on it.

That's exactly what's happening. That's why people will bash the new Star Wars before they've even seen it.

Being a film critic seems like a great profession nowadays, given how little desire the public seems to have for deciding things for themselves, and how every review feeds into the echo chamber of constant negativity.

My two most trusted YouTube reviewers, Jeremy Jahns and Chris Stuckmann, are split. Jahns disliked it while Stuckmann thought it was good.

Schmoesknow liked it and it's got a 70% on RT

I think the consensus is that while it's not as good as the original it's still pretty good and by far the best sequel

Currently at 75%. For a movie like this, that is very good. Much higher than I thought it would be - was thinking around 50% approval.

I'm going this weekend!

I've got dibs on the front half of the theater, you an have the back half.

No laughing at me when I scream like a girl during the scary parts.

The scene of him with the raptors culminating with him saying "we do this my way" and then leading the raptors through the jungle on a dirt bike cemented this movie as a comedy.

Raptors are bad, so are Orcs. This isn't complicated.
