Yeah, it's not a good sign. Pixar's Inside Out has never had an embargo since they know they've made a masterpiece. Interstellar had its initial reviews released 2 weeks before it came out, and while I don't think it had the T-Meter they were hoping for, it showed they were very proud of it and thought that it was excellent. I like it when a company and the filmmakers are confident enough in it to let the word of mouth spread weeks before it is released.

Since hear about this films release I've been somewhat bothered... Didn't we learn from the other movies that caging a bunch of dinosaurs for entertainment/ profit never ends well?

It's not going to be great. I know it, you know it. There'll be some cool parts and some little nostalgic nods, but otherwise it's doomed to fail as an overall film (too much lazy CGI, lazy plot, etc).

With all that said, I'm going to go see it within the next week.

Embargoes for a major release mean they want to hit that first weekend hard and not have the crowd cut down by bad reviews.

I will repeat my thoughts.

The scene of him with the raptors culminating with him saying "we do this my way" and then leading the raptors through the jungle on a dirt bike cemented this movie as a comedy.

It'll be a terrible action movie. But it will be a hilarious comedy.

I'm going to laugh alot.

Here is the plot:

Let's make dinosaurs and put them a theme park!

Run for your lives!

Run!

(Someone gets eaten...then another)

Main characters live, but barely.

Run!

Whew! We made it! Never do THAT again.

The End.

I don't think the critics have seen it yet. I have, however, and it is very good. There are a few flaws, but it is an incredibly entertaining movie.

Because Universal is paranoid about reviews being released until the movie is released...

Seriously, I've checked the subred quite frequently and any time theres someting even remotely considered a spoiler (especially with the ending), its instantly taken down.

Same with shite from people who have saw prescreenings and posted clips on youtube.

Something big happens at the 1 hour mark. All big movies are like that. At 1 hour in the hero usually meets the antagonist and loses.

Hey, with that attitude, I don't expect you to like it. I and everyone at the crew screening thought it was terrific and I'm just passing that along because there really isn't any opinions out there.

I actually won't be watching.

But it's not surprising that a movie's crew would like the movie they worked on.

Not sure why the board is so down on this film. Melissa McCarthy isn't in it.

My sister was on the crew... Had a screening last night and she said it was okay but nothing special.

"the cgi was badass, BDH was disappointing and Chris Pratt was Chris Pratt. It's a fun movie but nothing special"

Don't listen to this negative bitch. He's been openly a prick. Decide for yourself.
