I think it could be done pretty easily. There are plenty of things in the star wars universe that don't involve elaborate battles. You could do americans style show about an empire agent infilrating the rebels or vice versa.

Either of those are a good way to put people all over different planets, with different character acne every once in a whole run into a sith or Jedi but mostly just be a cool show in space
