Also batman accomplishes his goal while running a Fortune 500. Think of the sleep deprivation. Clark has no ambition and just chooses a job that puts him closer to the action. Lazy trash

Kryptonians are smarter than humans. Superman is a genius inventor in a lot of stories.
The Batman> Superman has been skewed by famous writers like Frank Miller, Grant Morrison,etc. who in an attmept to put Batman over introduce Superman as a foil and suggest the idea that Bats is superior which is an extension of "Why does Superman need the JL?" or even moreso "what's the need of other heroes in DCU if Superman exists?"
When a writer is writing a Superman story other heroes are rarely if ever written as antagonists.
Lastly, Superman isn't a pussy and will kill if means it's for the greater good.
go read some interesting Superman comics, it might change your perspective.

Hell, if Ilya Salkind hadn't forced a bunch of 3rd rate Richard Prior material into Superman 3 it could have been a pretty interesting flick with the dual personality battle and the computer that turns that one lady into a robot monster.

I really have no problem with Superman other than he's just kind of...boring. The idea of Superman just bothers me. All the best powers and nearly invincible. How can you really write intriguing stories consistently? IMO you can't. Which is why I've always loved Batman way more than Supes.

Besides the fact that Bruce Wayne is a billionaire, lives in a mansion far away from the shitty sections of Gotham, has the physique of an Adonis, skilled in all forms of martial arts (but mostly just punches people in the face), gets laid on a continual basis by beautiful women - he's a super relatable guy.
