Melissa McCarthy can be quite funny in small doses.

I'm just already sick of her being shoved in our faces in every movie.

My first choice is Anna Faris, who is already mentioned, but I think that Kristen Schall deserves recognition too.

She's probably best known for Flight Of The Conchords, doing a voice in Toy Story 3, and doing stand-up.

Which made for a decent joke at the Hasselhoff roast by Jon Lovitz...

"I'd ask who she blew to get on the dais, but she's dating Anthony Jeselnik. So, Anthony, who did she blow to get on the dais?"

Sandra Bullock - if you want subtle funny

Julie Bowen (Claire Dunphy on Modern Family)

Tina Fey

Meh.

Jane Lynch

Pretty funny.

Amy Poehler

Maybe if I were a P&R fan - not saying she's not funny, I just haven't been super impressed with her.

Anna Farris

Except for a few moments of Lost in Translation, and she almost certainly wasn't in the scene, I have never seen, anything, she has ever been in - ever, ever. So I cannot judge.

Yes I watched Friends, but by Season 10, I hadn't watched Friends in 5 years.

Kathryn Hahn was really funny in Step Brothers.

Not sure about the TV shows she does, don't watch any of them.

Ryan Reynolds would probably put that in my "don't want to watch" column. Meh.

Allison Brie? She's seemed funny in the interviews I've seen with her as well as Community.

Allison Brie is awesome as Annie in Community, but I dk if she's really that funny overall.

I think Tina Fey is hilarious, not getting the half hates she's getting in this thread.

I always thought Amy Poehler was just a less funny Tina Fey, but she's incredible in Parks and Rec.

Kristin Wig is a less funny Tina Fey, she's meh....

I've always thought Kristen Bell was funny, great on Party Down, plus she's hot.

Chelsey Handler does funny stand up, I don't care what anybody says, I saw her live with my gf and she was awesome. Just ripping this chick in the audience for being loud and drunk, ppl would ask questions and shed just shut them down. I'll watch the beginning of her talk show all day, the interviews kinda suck though. I also think she's like that IRL which is a plus. And she's smoking hot for her age
