I have never watched this movie but have the whole family in town for Thanksgiving and all of the moms voted to watch "Gone With the Wind"

I've heard it is a great movie but have never watched it.

I am amazed that this movie was made in 1939. Scarlett is a total snotty arse bitch but hot as hell

One thing I noticed while watching this movie is that the Blacks actually had it great back then. Sure, they were slaves but they lived wonderful lives. They had a job, they lived in amazing Plantations, they became BFF with their white owners, they ate great. Sure, they were slaves, but it was no different than having a job.

Anyways, I frowned upon having to watch this movie but the older ladies in the family wanted to watch it and it was actually a very impressive movie. It was filmed in 1939. To me, it was so interesting watching this and seeing how people acted in 1939.

My family would never vote to watch gone with the wind . Glad you enjoyed it though, 1939 had some well known movies made(The Wizard of Oz for one).
