Defiantly this is one more competitive years and American hustle is at the bottom end of the movies nominated. Bale is the only one that should have a chance but MM should win best actor.

Shoe in for the win. People hear his personal story (he and his sister, a CNN reporter, became orphans when their parents were killed in a car accident, which they the kids were also involved in.) and they can't not vote for him.

Plus the race card, unfortunately, but the guy is a legit great actor. He was great as the bounty hunter in Serenity.

Agreed, she was great in a very strong and rarely viewed movie. It just came out on Netflix and is well worth a watch.
