Who saw a $3 movie today? Where, what, and how packed?

We saw Invitation today at 4:15 in Covington. The parking lot was packed. The concession line was rather long, and our particular theater was about 75% full.

This was the busiest I've seen a theater since pre-2020 stupidity.

Forgot about the three dollar thing. There really isn’t anything I want to see right now, though.

My MIL took my kids and some cousins today. The website was so slow we could barely buy tickets and the first showing they wanted sold out while trying to select the seats. Everytime she tried to check out, it would fail and she would have to start over.

Anyway, all that to say I think it was pretty busy day for the theater.

Maybe theaters should keep tickets priced at $3.

There was a huge brawl at the theater on the westbank today. I was wondering why it was so crowded.

The first 95% of the film was a solid 7.25/10. Enjoyable and entertaining.

The last 5% was dumb as shite. Avoid that part. 2/10.

Saw Jaws on imax. Lot of empty seats. Film quality was better than expected.

Then saw Maverick. Lot of seats sold. 4/5 hoodrats acted up enough that the manager and on duty cop come in.

Took the family to see Maverick, my third but their first time. We're in a small town in Ohio so it wasn't too bad. Mostly full I guess?

Saw Jaws in 3D at Perkins Rowe at 12 Saturday with my 10 year old. My wife took the 3 year old to DC Pets. Theater was about 75% full if I had to guess.
