You suck. Didn't you see civil war where superman was fighting batman? He avenged the shite out of that.

MCU: Quicksilver. Nothing like moving super fast. So many real world applications to those powers.

Comics: Spider Man - I would be the greatest athlete of all time. So much money. Screw fighting crime

Captain America.

A pure Simon and Kirby creation (even if he's a riff on one of their previous characters).

He doesn't have that Stan Lee stench attached to him.

Captian Ameria via movies 'cause he won me over via 1st avenger movie.

Hulk via Incredible Hulk (old school show) via very relateable.

Black Widow via sex appeal since Scar Jo makes it so so. lol! I'd love a solo Black Widow spy related movie! Bonus thought: I'd like a solo movie for this Mortal Kombat character: Cynax (the yellow one with that badass net casting weapon!)

Captain America has been my favorite Marvel character since I was a little kid. He's pretty badass.

Comics: Hawkeye. Clint Barton exists solely as a foil to Captain America, which is just outstanding. He constantly undercuts his leadership, and thinks he could do better. He has no powers, but he still feels like he is the Best Avenger. I like that he writes checks he has no business cashing, but still manages to.

MCU: Cap. He's just a virtuous on screen as he is in the books, but he has more of a sense of humor. And the Man out of Time bit really works. His superpower is his decency... and everything with Peggy Carter just kills me. It is the most emotionally affecting relationship in the MCU.

Probably Cap.

That being said, I found myself slightly more on Iron Man's side during CW...which was unexpected.
But that's great filmmaking for you.

Cap is too much of a goody two-shoes. I want my heroes to have some tragic personality defect like alcoholism or narcissism. Archer should join the MCU.

Thor because he is ripped, badass god who kills monsters with a hammer, and gets to get with natalie port

Thor for sure. Although his power his portrayed a little unevenly. In one scene he'll go toe to toe in a fistfight with Hulk, and the next scene he's struggling with Loki or getting beat up by Ultron. I wish they'd power him up a tad and do more with his lightning and weather powers.

I find Antman to be the most entertaining. I think I liked that movie best of all.

Cap's defect is his loyalty to friends and never wavering in his beliefs, no matter what is presented to him, to the point of lunacy. It has almost killed him multiple times.

Captain America: Secret Hydra Agent

quote:

If readers go back and look at older comics, will this hold up?

It will. Issue 2 kind of winds the clock back a little bit and lays out exactly how and why things are the way they are. And it lays out a roadmap for where things are headed in the future. At this point, I don’t want to say too much definitively because I want people to read the comic books. But people will be able to connect the dots and follow the trail of breadcrumbs.

How long has this been in the works?

Almost since the beginning of when Nick started writing the Captain America titles, which would have been the end of 2014. So right around there the conversations first started about this. It’s been in the works for more than a year.

What does this mean for the Marvel Universe?

It means on the most fundamental level that the most trusted hero in the Marvel universe is now secretly a deep-cover Hydra operative, a fact that’s really only known to the readers and to him. That makes every interaction he has with anyone take on a second layer, a second meaning.

In the comic the Red Skull of Hydra talks about “criminal trespassers” who “make a mockery” of America’s borders and calls the refugees in Germany an “invading army” bringing “fanatical beliefs and crime” to Europe. Obviously, this hate speech is nothing new for the organization, but it sounds like rhetoric we’ve been hearing this election. Is that purposeful?

Only makes me hate Cap that much more.

Let's go Antman

It's comics. They will sell some books for 6-12 months then revert back to normal Cap soon.

This probably isn't even Cap, it's some Parallel Dimension Cap or something.
