Gotta be one of my top 10-15 all-time and my favorite "buddy" movie.

It's one of my top 3. The scene where Jack shows up to the motel room naked is absolutely hilarious.

I hate how it started this pretentious wine snob society we live in today.

I believe this existed well before Sideways. It just created a bunch of pseudo wine lovers.

I was a wine salesman when it came out and my merlot sales tanked.

Couldn't give that shite away.

A favorite. Giamotti got RAPED by not getting an Oscar nomination.

Love it, but the scene with him drinking from that spit bucket makes me nauseous.

The most telling scene in the history of film:

Miles points over the CASHIER'S SHOULDER.

MILES
And could I get a Barely Leqal?

As the cashier reaches for the magazine --

MILES
NO, um, the new one.

it's a nice movie ... if it's in anyone's top 100 movies of all time, they might want to see more movies ...

Absolutely love it. Even read the book after seeing the movie. it's one of those rare occasions where the movie is better than the book.

I'm thankful for the light that the movie shined on the Santa Ynez Valley/Santa Rita Hills wines area. For me those wines can compare with most any wines being made in the state of California. The movie didn't just help pinot noir sales. It helped put the AVA's from that region on the map.

Ok?

It's a one of a kind movie that's universally respected. Post your top 100.

The only disappointing thing about the movie is that Miles loves pinot noir so much.

It's one of my favorites. In fact, the wife and I hit several of the filming locations on a wine trip to Santa Barbara. Ate at the Los Olivos Wine Merchant & Cafe, Hitching Post, and hit several of the wineries. Good time.
