Gone Girl, The Drop or Nightcrawler?

I'm leaning heavily towards Nightcrawler.

Gone Girl, without a doubt, is the best.

I haven't really heard anything about Drop. I heard that Nightcrawler wasn't really very good. I heard that Gone Girl was great.

I just checked out The Drop on IMDB. I really like the top cast. Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, and James Gandolfini are all awesome.

Can't go wrong with any of those three, but I'd say Nightcrawler is in a league of its own.

1. Nightcrawler
2. Gone Girl
3. The Drop

On a side note, Gandolfini looks like he's on his deathbed in The Drop - kind of eery how soon he actually passed away.

You heard wrong. It's easily one of the best movies of the past year.

Nightcrawler seems to be the most noirish so good choice.

Gillian Flynn has to be the worst title-maker ever. Her three books:

Gone Girl
Sharp Objects
Dark Places

Totally! It was like something Paul Schrader would have wrote. In fact it was kind of a cross between Taxi Driver and American Psycho. I thought it was great on many levels in the subject matter it was dealing with. From the psychological aspects to what was really a biting critic of crime/news journalism. Makes you look not just at the people that film and produce true crime but the audience that eagerly consumes it. We watch wondering how far Lou will go like Rick we are just supposed to be along for the ride.

Next I'll watch Gone Girl this up coming weeked.
