John Carter, not close.

There are some really good stories to tell too, but we won't get it.

I feel the same way also. We haven't even scratched the surface of what could be on Barsoom or the ninth ray.

Enders Game is pretty unpopular movie here. People who love the book just can't bring themselves to enjoy the movie even a little bit. I liked John Carter more but I'd be more interested in a Enders game sequel.

Well that's just stupid.

And the Enders Game hate here is overblown too.

Coincidental that the two movies chosen have authors that are now controversial for their non-PC views? (Though ERB was from the days prior to political correctness.)

as much as i'd like to see a Speaker for the Dead movie, I just don't see how that could be done (if we're talking direct sequel).

Also don't understand the enders game hate. Was the book better, absolutely, but i still enjoyed the movie.

I liked john carter. I haven't seen enders game, but as much as I liked the book, I don't know if ill like the movie.

I'd like to see a sequel to john carter.

Another movie I thought deserved a sequel was a-team. That was just a cheesy fun movie.

BS.

The acting was bad. The writing was bad. The changes to the story were bad.

No sequel for either of these movies.

That said, I would like to see a TV spinoff of ender's game that focuses entirely on battle school. It would necessarily have an entirely different feel than the movie. But I would enjoy this type of spinoff with maybe a Friday Night Lights type of mentality to it. I know that nothing like this could ever happen because I can't imagine that being a cost-effective production for television. But a series centered around the life in battle school with an emphasis on the zero gravity fights could be very entertaining.

I enjoyed John Carter and I think the ending setup quite well for a sequel.

Thought the movie was a good refresher for what I read 15ish years ago. Was almost just nice to see everything in person that was thought out 30 years ago.

When I first started hearing about the iPad it made me think of those tablets they used in the book.

None of it was that bad. To say its your third worst movie means you haven't seen many movies. It was forgettable but you're being dramatic.

Nope. 3rd worst major movie I've seen in theaters and I've seen a good bit of movies, sir.

1. Last Airbender
2. The Spirit
3. Ender's Game

Terrible movies.

I liked Speaker for the Dead better anyways.

I just saw Ender's Game today and it was awesome imo.

Love the book, hated the movie. Was excited to see the book "come alive" but it felt rushed and skipped too many important things in the book.

Never saw Spirit. Last Airbender was disappointing too but still doesn't come close to the garbage that was Indiana Jones Crystal Skulls, Legion, or the most recent Die Hard.

Meh...

The Last Airbender was a MAJOR FAIL OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!

It was pure 100% garbage.

It changed the name of its main character for God's sake. At least in the new Die Hard, the director didn't say "I've got a great idea, lets change his name to Howard McClain."

That's what that piece of garbage M Night did. Ruined one of the best cartoon series in the parlance of our times. Just pissed it away.

I loved the cartoon. And it's the only movie I considered to get up and leaving.

I agree those other movies sucked, but I had a feeling die hard and Indiana would eventually hit a snag at one point.
Last Airbender sucked right out of the gate.
