Took the missus to see the Final Cut at the theater tonight, when I realized she had never seen it...

Just got out of the Final Cut.. And I kinda missed the narration from Ford.

Agreed. I rented it from Amazon, because my wife hadn't ever seen the original. It's probably been 15-20 years for me. Not only did I miss the narration (bad as it was, the nostalgia center in my brain cried out for it all the same), but it lent a Sam Spade-film noir angle to an otherwise future setting and I dug that.
Truth be told, I wasn't a huge fan of the "true vision of the film".
