For Superman, your choices are
Henry Cavill
Christopher Reeve
Brandon Routh
Dean Cain
Tom Welling

I'm going to go with Christopher Reeve without a doubt.

For Batman, your choices are
Christian Bale
Michael Keaton
Adam West
George Clooney
Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer if you ask me. Even though that movie was shite, Val Kilmer was pretty badass as Batman

For Spiderman, your choices are
Tobey Maguire
Andrew Garfield

I'm going to go with Tobey Maguire mainly becuase Spiderman 2 is one of the greatest superhero movies ever.

For Hulk, your choices are
Eric Bana
Mark Ruffalo
Edward Norton
Bill Bixby

Mark Ruffalo for me. A very underrated actor.

Let me know if I missed any choices. As for the rest of the superheroes, there hasn't been a variety of actors to play them yet.

I like Bill Bixby's portrayal of Banner.

He brought a lot to that old tv show.

Am I the only one who liked Norton as Banner?

Superman:

I feel like movie nerds, nerd fanboys, in their late 30s and older pick Reeve as the best Superman partly out of nostalgia, partly because the hate for MoS, and partly because Reeve's legend actually grew larger after his accident.

Caville is a good Superman, don't blame him for the writing.

Batman:

Its Bale for live action.

But I'll never hear another Batman's voice in my head other than Kevin Conroy. As far as I am concerned he became the character better than anyone else ever did, and yes doing voice over work for animation, good voice over work, is very much acting.

Spiderman:

Garfield. Not that I ever really cared for either. Tobey always bothered me, always seemed to play the character as a weak, small, boy. He couldn't convince me that he was a Superhero.

Hulk:

At this point its Ruffalo.

I'm trying to remember what other SuperHeroes have had multiple actors. Besides The Fantastic Four.....

I checked YouTube for my vote for The Hulk, first clip

Bill Bixby

Great show for its day. From what I remember most of the early stuff held up pretty well, then at some point they started getting silly.

Tim Daly
Kevin Conroy
CD Barnes
Fred Tatasciore

But to play your game:

Reeve
Bale slightly over Keaton
Maguire
Ruffalo, but I did like Norton's a lot

If Catwoman counts then you've got Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, and Anne Hathaway. My pick would be Newmar.

That is because Peter Parker was a weak, small boy.

Reeve

Keaton

I'm abstaining on Spiderman

Hulk is tough, because I like every one of them. Each brought something to the part:

Bana - a certain lost passion that I think is appropriate

Bixby - wit and wisdom

Norton - an intensity that is appropriate - but a little too rational

Ruffalo - that comic book reluctance of Banner to lose himself to the beast - he also has a certain amount of wit and restrained passion

Bana, slightly, because I think the picture suffers so badly from Nolte - and still he shined through - the best Hulk scene (aside from "Puny God.") in any of the movies is Bana describing the rage, the freedom, his heart beating and then him remembering he killed the dogs - that is one of the best scenes from any comic book movie - ever. He gets the Hulk nod from me based primarily on that scene (and him describing how transforming to the Hulk was like being born again.)

I'd have to say Kevin Conroy for batman. It just worked so well with Mark Hamills joker.

For Superman:
Tom Welling

This was the first in what has become the popular "re-telling"/"Re-imagining" of superhero and I thought it was unique.

For Batman:
Kevin Conroy

Sure, maybe the animators helped, but damn if Conroy didn't nail every subtle nuance of what Batman is

For Spiderman, your choices are
Andrew Garfield

Toby M was a better Peter Parker, but Garfield moved more like Spidey and looked more like the lanky hero I grew up reading

For Hulk:
Edward Norton

I hated that he did not stay with the role. Would've loved to have seen his take on the role in The Avengers movies

Superman - Reeve, then Welling

Batman - Bale

Spiderman - McGuire, but only because I hated the last two movies

Hulk - Ruffalo I guess but Bixby's version was well done
