The dialogue in this miniseries is engrossing. I love it. Great debates and great acting.

I watched almost half of it and then it got way too slow and almost boring for me. I own it and hope to finish it one day, but I just remember it being excruciatingly slow.

It's great. It's the second best thing hbo has done, behind band of brothers of course.

Agreed. Is it also one of those things that would be cool to show in high school history classes? Probably.

Awesome miniseries for the history buffs and political junkies. Not a whole lot of action for the short attention span viewers.

Great but not for everyone, history buffs and political junkies will love this. I think it really underrated. I have it solidly though behind Band of Brothers (GOAT).

Not anywhere near my top.

The first episode is great, maybe parts of the second. Then it becomes dull & dreary.

The first two episodes are amazing television. The rest of the miniseries has its ups and downs.

This.

I didn't finish it, and I majored in history.

I thought Paul Giamatti was an odd choice for John Adams; otherwise, I enjoyed it, although it got weaker in the later episodes.

Brag: I got David McCollough to sign my copy of the book right before the series came out.
