have a 2 hour special to finish the story lines. Alot of shows get you pumped for next year, but then get canceled. And the finale always leaves things unfinished and exciting.

What if they dont know they're being cancelled?

And they studio doesn't want to put any extra money into a two hour slot.

I'm saying....after they find out series got canceled, to make one more show to tie everything up. If it takes a few months, no biggie.

I still can't believe they cancelled Breaking Bad before they got a chance to explain what happened to Jesse and Flynn. Damn shame

Why would the studio put more money into what they have already declared dead weight

Doesn't make sense. Studios aren't going to shell out the cash to make what is essentially a full length movie. They are cancelling it for a reason. Sometimes it's a shitty, terrible, borderline criminal reason (i.e., Firefly), but a reason nonetheless.
