Whats up with Dish Network wanting to drop Fox Programming? If I can't watch my Sons of Anarchy or Astros games on FS Southwest, Dish is fricking out, and DirectTV is fricking in! weird thing is, the main reason we switched to Dish in the first place is because DirectTV did the same thing

Are they looking at dropping FOX as well?

I have the top 120 package so I already don't have FX or FSN. I watch Sons of Anarchy online and I just miss out on the Astros games, but I REALLY miss watching them nearly every night .

From the way it looks I think they're just planning on dropping FX, National Geographic, and the Fox Sports Networks, looks like regular old FOX is sticking around, I guess since they're providing local channels now, it'd be kinda hard to get rid of the old analog FOX channels, but idk.. I really do enjoy watching my Astros every night they come on, its somtehing me and the fam have done for years, so its kinda instilled in me I guess .. where do you watch SOA online just in case I have to start doing that after October 1st before I can get another service provider?

Sons of Anarchy

Right here my man. Many other shows are on this site as well. And the best part is...I've never had any spyware/malware problems.

But year I hear you on the Astros games on FX. I LOVED watching them on there because most of the games were televised. When I lived in the city, I had Charter digital but now that I live in the country, I had to get satellite and I just didn't feel like paying an additional $10/month just to watch FSN, FX, National Geographic, and NFL Network. That's just 4 channels out of another 100+ that I would be paying for.

Yea when I first moved to Monroe we had comcast so we get an tv/cable internet package, and it wasn't bad, got all the channels that we wanted plus the HBO and Cinemax on demand, but the Comcast people up here were just such a pain in the arse to deal with, that and having grown up with satellite tv as opposed to digital cable kinda still had me leaning towards Dish, so when they got a bundle package with AT&T for internet for a short time I switched back to it.

Any chance this gets resolved? If they take away FX, I'm canceling Dish immediately.

I still get something called FX but when I go to Tuesday on the guide Sons od Anarchy isn't listed. I don't think it's FX.

some type of contract dispute, come Nov 1st if it isn't resolved your local FOX affiliate will be gone too.

I made the switch yesterday to DirecTV for numerous reasons, thus far DirecTV is better, user wise.

Where did you read this? I've read several stories of this nonsense but none of them said the local FOX channels would be dropped.

this is unbelievable. What exactly is the problem? Man if I can't watch the NFL games on FOX I'm going to be FURIOUS.

I sure hope they take care of it by November.

some kind of contract issue i'd imagine, someone, somewhere is wanting more money. Switch to DirecTV, it blows dish out of the water, and they'll give you all kind of free shite

Directv doesn't offer locals in my area, plus I like Dish's packages more. I'm just mad about this FOX drama.
