It's really bad. Paul Giamatti may be the worst Santa Claus in any movie ever.

I assumed he was talking about this one, which I actually watch every year if it comes on. The scenes with his father and brothers crack me up everytime.

Like most kids, I loved the stop moton Rankin and Bass Christmas shows like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Then, we watched this one:

quote:

Back in the days of the Roman Empire, a small donkey is born with VERY long ears, that keep getting him into trouble. When his owner throws him out of the stable in disgust, his mother sacrifices her life to save him from a blizzard. And, guided only by his guardian cherub (Tilly), he has to find his rightful place and destiny, somewhere on the road to Bethlehem

What a dark, sad, depressing show! As a little kid I was traumatized! shite, it was worse than Bambi's mother getting shot and Dumbo's mother being jailed combined!

Screw that damned show.

To this day, thinking of the mom saying "ears Nestor" kills me.

Yeah, screw that show.

I couldn't agree with you more. This was down right depressing.
