Sicario

I'll never watch The Room after reading what it is. My wife would cry for 2 hours straight. I can't deal with that again after watching Dear Zachary

If we're talking about The Room I'm sure a little of it is violent, but most of it is probably gut-wrenching sad.

Sicario is violent, but more action movie/documentary Mexican cartel violent

I mean, yeah, but you're dealing with a cartel, so it's not unexpected

More power to you.

But it's not as bad as you would expect. Just my opinion. The overall movie just made me wonder what it would be like to be a kid in that situation. Dear Zachary simply made me pissed off to no end

I guess I think more of my wife freaking the frick out. I've read the kid actor was amazing.

Dear Zachary not only pissed me off, but made me sick to my stomach. I actually thought it was gonna end with the grand-parents getting Zachary.

I think watching that made me not want to watch anything dealing with a kid anytime soon.

I've seen all of the films up for Best Picture, and Room was my favorite film of the year. There are some films that affect you all the way down to the core, and for me, Room was one of those films. Fantastic performances by both Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay.

I watched Sicario and the Room. Pretty much polar opposites. If you're looking for suspense and action go with Sicario. If you want a moving experience that will make you really feel for characters, go for the Room. Both are very good in their own way.
