I'm finding myself agreeing with Mizzoukills for the first time. What is wrong with me?

Just look at the pics posted. Lots of sterile red brick buildings. It was a massive sprawling factory the size of a city. Look at all the cooling towers/chimney stacks.
I was an adult when I saw it, seemed more like work instead of magical.

I have to agree
Polar Express is one of favorite Christmas movies... but all the buildings at the north pole are all red brick... looks dull to me
The reason I chose The Santa Claus and Fred Clause is because of all the colors, and it seems like a fun place to be
I'm judging on them from watching the movies.. not just the pics posted

I always liked how the Polar Express North Pole was like a large, well-established city that kind of looks like old London.

Mizzou I agree 100% about The Polar Express. It is our families tradition to watch it first. It is very special. It hits me in that special place every year watching it with my kids. Its also probably the first movie my 3 year old son sat and watched the entire thing engrossed in it and didn't move

Finished watching that for the first time, myself with my 2 year old last night. Been watching about 30-40 minutes at a time before bed time. He seems to like it. I enjoyed it as well.

It is a seriously underrated movie that doesn't get talked about much. Really good movie.

My family watches the Polar Express every year on Christmas Eve. That is the only time we watch it and we all watch it together with hot chocolate and stuff. Been doing that since it came out on DVD. Movie seems to get better the more I watch it.

Elf's North Pole was a dreary, depressing looking place.
