Truly great movies are not made for everybody. PART of it's appeal to me (there are many other reasons) is that this film is a VERY VERY acquired taste. It's not a movie I will show to my friends or anyone unless they have the same taste as me. It's something that is unique to me and a select few and I like that.
P.S. I do like the fact that you at least TRIED to watch the movie and know of it's existence. It's always nice to know some folks are willing to venture outside of the mainstream.
