I'm fairly certain it was Freddy Krueger. Just can't remember which one.

When I was 4 I woke up screaming from a nightmare I had about an old man trying to get into a car to hurt someone. It wasn't until I was much older that I realized it was this scene from Night of the Living Dead.

I have no clue when or where I saw that scene but that nightmare has always stuck with me.

My mom would always try and cover my eyes,
My first eye covering experience was in the theater for Invasion of the Body Snatchers. My dad covered my eyes during the part when they find a pod person growing in a pd and smash its head in with a shovel.

Come to think of it, my dad used to take us to see some pretty fricked up movies.

Clint (spaghetti westerns) and the Duke in a deep dixie theater that had one movie a week. We used to walk down as kids.

Television - Walt Disney movies, Sunday night at 7. Charlie the Lonesome Cougar, Old Yellar and The Incredible Journey spring to mind as well as the Snow Whites, Bambis, etc.

Really an age of innocence that is now forever lost. And that is too bad.

Do you remember if you enjoyed The Wizard when you were a kid?

Hell yeah I did. Was amazing. Cutting edge power glove technology back when Nintendo was the ultimate. I saw it opening weekend, I was 9.

Condorman!!!!!!!!!!! 1981

I wanna say this is the very first movie i watched as a kid really learning about how to watch movies and what to learn. Barbra Carrera I fell in love with as a little kid and wanted the man's costume. Ah to dream again.

Now it's a terrible movie but at the time, it was a wonderful flick

Mine was King Kong '33 in the early 70s.

My mom took me to the movies to see the '76 version. Thanked her for that this past Mother's Day.

We're about the same age and this is the first movie I remember. Watched it at a drive-in when I was about 3-4 years old. Remember Vader scared the crap out of me and I cried when Pawpaw 'Nobi died... LOL, at least that's what my Dad said I called him.

At the time, though, I have a more vivid memory of Superman. Saw that one in the same drive-in theater. I think that came out a year or two later and I thought it was the GOAT when I was a kid. Until Empire Strikes Back came out, that is.

I think it was Jaws at a drive-in, I was maybe 3 or 4. Some reason I remember sitting on a rooftop watching this in sleeping bags and looking at other screens, I think I saw soft porn. The most memorable was Empire Strikes Back. Some reason don't remember seeing Star Wars at the movies.
