I have never had a show or movie absolutely shock me as hard as The Red Wedding and for better or worse this was the episode that kicked off all those reaction videos

I preferred 'Plan and Execution' from Better Call Saul

Might be recency bias, but this one was incredible. One of the few times an episode left me speechless at the very end. The only other that comes to mind was GOT’s Rains of Castamere.

So many shows it’s tough to remember

Six Feet Under finale was pretty nice.

“The Son” Friday Night Lights

This

Also the season 4 finale of Stranger things.

Also “The Calm Before” in the Walking Dead. This show became a complete disaster not too long after this (maybe it already was) but the last 2 minutes of this episode legitimately made my jaw drop and stay dropped the entire time. I guess if you’ve read the comics you knew it was coming but I hadn’t so I was shocked.

The season finale of the Haunting of Hill House was really good too. Was not expecting to be as emotional as I was at the end

Pilot episode of Heroes.

And it isn't at all close.

The show went downhill FAST, but it doesn't take away that early season.

The Wire episode when Randy’s house burned down or the season 4 finale
The group home he was in at the start of Season 5 made him hard.

Little Randy was one of my favorite characters. I loved the cops in the unit and the kids. Most of the higher ups on both sides of the law were bigger criminals than any of those kids.

My philosophical take on The Wire:

I hated the ending of the series because all of politicians bettered themselves, just like most of the guys on both sides of the aisle in our real political arena. They distract us with bs while they give our country away. We're all just as guilty for letting them stay in office for so long.
