My wife wanted to give this a try as well. After two minutes of that stupid laugh track I said to turn it off. She agreed. Terrible.

Besides the critics who loved it, I was apparently one of the few people who liked the movie "About Schmidt". She played her role very well. The scene where she gets naked and joins Jack Nicholson in the hot tub had me rolling!

I've always thought her performance in Dolores Claiborne was better than Misery.
