The second book, is "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. It is the single best piece of post apocalyptic horror to come out of the 20th century and no one has done it justice.

You are aware that this was made a few years ago right? While it had its issues and deviated from the book quite a bit, it was pretty successful.

Vincent Price in "The Last Man on Earth".
Its very good, if you can go without modern day special effects.

Yes, but it shouldn't have been an action movie and definitely shouldn't have starred Will Smith. I also do not recognize Omega Man. I will have to give the Vincent Price movie a go though.

It's a story of survival and torment, not someone driving around NY in a mustang busting caps.

Think Forest Gump meets Big Fish meets Kingdom of Heaven starring Jeff Winger.

A lying thief from France's attempt at a life-changing theft sends him on a journey across the world. From Crusader era Jerusalem to Mongolian China to the castles of France, lies prompting more lies continue to send our hero on crazy adventures in Medieval history. Fighting, gambling, stealing, and wenching his way across the globe, our protagonist seeks a way to dig himself out from his quagmires and make it back home to marry the woman of his dreams.

It's full of quests, tits, violence, quips, history, sarcasm, sword fights (the non-gay type), romance, one-liners, and, of course, Medieval Warfare.

A film about a brother who has a dying sister, they travel across country to meet a faith healer (a comatose young woman) that her brother thinks can save her. It would be an existential road movie; the sister sees the trip as a form of closure and making peace and dies soon after. It sounds like a movie of the week type deal but not really. It would be a surprisingly funny, beautifully shot movie about not death, but life, acceptance and doing the best with what you have. Or whatever.

I wrote a short about astronauts in the distant future who are harvesting gases from Jupiter's atmopshere and its 'great red spot' has become so massive that it has become a supernatural entity that becomes a means of traveling interdimensionally. It would make a pretty cook acidic thriller.

I've posted this here a few times but I still think it would make a great movie. The Bay Bridge World Series earthquake, told from Al Michaels POV, he was the only set of eyes and ears for the rest of the country for a good while when this was taking place. I have always envisioned Paul Giamanti playing Michaels in this film.

I've got quite a few, and I'll share a few concepts:

1) Basically Inglourious Basterds, but instead of Nazi Occupied France, it's Japanese Occupied China, and with ridiculous over-the-top martial arts, weaponry, and mindless violence. Plot focuses on an 18 year old guy leading a group of outlaws whose city was raped and pillaged years earlier by Japanese Forces, and he's out for revenge, as well as to save his sister who has been kidnapped by a Japanese Colonel, who will serve as the main antagonist. Joining them in their quest is a wise Chinese mentor who teaches them to be badasses and also has a personal beef with a Japanese Prince.

2) Artificial Intelligence is created, and they test it out by sending out a droid who has the appearance, personality, and forged credentials of someone who has just graduated from a university.

3) A crew goes to Mars with the knowledge that they're unlikely to return to Earth within 20 years. Two of the astronauts fall in love and have child on Mars. The kid grows up to be psychotic and yearns more than anything to leave his prison on Mars. After the mother sabotages the day that he would leave Mars to go to Earth, violence ensues.

What about we do a movie about food trucks in Chicago. Here's the idea: an hamburger food truck, soul food truck, Chinese food truck, Mexican food truck and Indian food truck All wage war over turf. Actors would be for the burger truck Danny mcbride, Jim brewer and a nerdy eighteen year old who is the main character who is in love with the Chinese truck owners daughter. Danny and Jim try to help him get the girl and attempt to teach him how to handle women. Soul food truck guys would be Kevin hart Chris tucker and Monique. Mexican truck guys would be salma Hayek and Alberto de rio. Chinese truck actors would be yun fat chow and Lucy Liu and thier daughter. Indian food truck would be aziz ansari and kal penn.

All trucks sabotage each other's trucks planting drugs on each other. the Indian food truck is owned by the Indian mob and sell drugs out the truck and are contract killers.

Anyway the main conclusion to the movie, all food trucks come together to foil a plot of the Indian truck to kill the mayor, nerdy kid gets the girl and Danny mcbride falls for Monique.

........I like it!

Mine was fantasy. I don't have all the story details sorted out but have the overall story.

Gargoyles are a race that is very wise and very powerful and maintains order in the realm. They live on a high plateau region. A Sorceror places a curse on them which causes the entire race to turn to stone. Without their guidance the realm slowly decays. Centuries have passed and the creatures of the realm walk by the plateau and see lots of stone figures on it which by now has turned into a legend story.

The goal of the story is to undo the curse so the gargoyles can come back and save the realm.

Again--very, very, very rough
