But his only plan is to make the people fall into chaos, he lays out plans well, yes, but they arent all leading to something, he is just going to keep doing intense shite until the people all snap and go nuts. Its real and its intense. His plans and things he did werent all connected or leading to anything or full of hidden motives and schemes. I think was his point in that speech. He just does shite because it's entertaining to him and because he wants to break the collective spirit of the people.

This is why i think he is less intense than Ledger. Ledger's joker wasnt just a crazy person on the loose killing and druging people. He was a fiercely intelligent genius trying to force the city to collapse in on itself with the smallest push possible. He didnt want to kill everyone, he wanted them to kill themselves.

Nicholson's joker, while insane, and without a doubt scary and awesome in his own right, was just less intense for me. He was a lunatic and a madman on the loose that couldnt be stopped.

makes him better than the iron man people. His animation was done well eough, it was the writers and director that made him suck arse.

The whole point of The Joker in The Dark Knight was anarchy. He believed in a world with no rules. He believed that mankind was handicapping its true nature with stupid and archaic laws. The whole point of his character was to prove his theory true: that when the chips were down, everyone would become just as crazy as he was.

When he announced that he planned to blow up a hospital if an ordinary citizen didn't kill a man, the whole city went nuts. As Gordon was trying to smuggle Reese out of the TV studio, Mike Engel - the host of Gotham Tonight - asked if Gordon really believed an ordinary citizen would try to kill Reese. A few moments later, from within the mob going nuts outside, a lone gunman emerged and tried to shoot Reese as they were approaching the front door. This is what Ledger's Joker was going for: chaos.

The Joker in The Dark Knight didn't want to kill everyone, he wanted everyone to kill themselves.
