i think the best part is they actually believe they're doing something to hinder the japanese

If they find the right ship they can and do.

i'm actually pulling for the japanese

Apparently the Jap ships equip themselves with acoustic weapons.

if they mess with the ships while they're looking for the body (even how impossible it may be to find the body) then I hope their ship sinks to the bottom of the fricking ocean with everyone on board. that's beyond fricking low

They make it look it like they will, but they don't. They actually offer to help search for the body, which is immediately rebuffed.

I think Peter Brown is most of what is wrong and incompetent with that crew. Their problem is a lack of contingency planning when shite goes wrong so that everyone is on the same page. And when the Navy chick (Apparently the Navy doesn't know how to run a ship according to Brown) tries to move in that direction he shits over it.

I see you were duped just like the captain into thinking they were actually searching, lol.

I figured it was obvious that they weren't searching and shoulda went after them.

But yea, the entire crew is completely incompetent, it seems. The captain is hilarious and just doesn't give a frick.

That Peter Brown dude is 1 annoying frick who shoulda been thrown off the side of the boat already.

I saw the show for the first time last night during the marathon. I was thinking to myself, that there are a lot of attractive women on board and then I saw all the guys with the dreads and thought, the chronic smoke must really billow at night.
If the captain is too intense for Greenpeace, um, what does that make him?
Also, it's obvious Animal Planet has put a great deal of money into their operation. Really, everyone on board has like 20 different pieces of clothing with the Sea Shephard(sp) logo?
Has anyone ever noticed how nice and new all the paint, uniforms, etc. look on these "reality" shows?

I've only seen this show a couple of times. I do wonder how the hell do these clowns finance this operation. Forget the fact that the idiots volunteer for this crap, that ship costs a shitload of money to operate and maintain. All you have to do is watch the first episode of Deadliest Catch on a crabbing season to see those boats, which are smaller BTW, cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to maintain. Where the frick do they get the money.

I don't agree with the over fishing of any species, much less whales, but these people are ridiculous.
