Well, I finished this series today. It was very good at the beginning but kind of fell off the rails the last two seasons. I still enjoyed it but it certainly went downhill after season 5-6.
Mary Louise Parker was still hot all the way through.
I certainly was not crazy about the ending. They really did not do anything with it. I did not expect her to be alone in the end....
Anyway, its worth the watch.

As for Mary Louise, never really cared for her, not from the first time I saw her in Grand Canyon (great movie, BTW). As for Nancy, I wanted to do unpleasant things to her with that Starbucks cup and straw she was always sucking on.

Every time I think Andy is my favorite character, Doug does something outrageous and then he's my favorite. Then, Conrad, Shane and so on. I love this show.

Yeah, the taint. The setup was perfection. Two 40ish stoners sitting around the house smoking dope from a bong in the middle of the day, having a retarded debate, and asking the older Latino housekeeper, just returning from doing the shopping which is part of her JOB, to settle the rude, inappropriate subject for them, which she does with a most unexpected, withering punchline.

She's a smoke show. I didn't think that in her earlier years. But dayum she aged well. And she gets nekkid a lot.

Of course it's not believable. None of the show should be fired as believable IMO. It's all outrageous and hysterical.
