I'm on season two, right when Oliver Platt shows up.

Holy.shite. Incredible.

Season Two finale (Two Cathedrals) is one of the best hours of tv ever, imo

I've watched the series 6 or 7 times all the way through now. My wife just rolls her eyes at me.

I've been trying to get my wife to watch. Got her to watch a couple episodes a while back, then recently got her up to around 4 before she bailed. Goddamn Mandy ruining me. Such an irritating character. There's a bit of filler episodes since there are so many episodes each season, but the great episodes, of which there are many, are as good as anything ever put to screen. I recently rewatched the season 1 finale/season 2 opener, and again it brought tears to my eyes. Very few moments of network tv have done that to me. I can't think of any except many the Lost finale. Really want a rewatch but I'm holding out for my wife to watch with me. Right now we're in the middle of Homeland.

The ending of season 2 was so damn good. I did think that the White House parts of season 6 and 7 tended to drag a bit, especially with too much attention put on CJ, but the whole Santos campaign from start to finish was fantastic.

The last season could have been 100% election only, and I would have been pleased.

Season 1 and most of season 2 of Homeland are as good as TV gets.

Take season 3 out and Homeland is the best show ever IMO.

I'm heading into the finale in season 3 of Homeland and think it's on par with 1 and 2 - and I thought the big surprise twist was one of the best ever. And I had heard season 3 was bad before starting the series. so I didn't expect to enjoy it as much.

I didn't like the campaign season as much, Sam was my favorite character, I wish they would reboot with him as president.

I had a hard time getting past it being 98% dimly lit indoor scenes, and it always seemed to be fall or winter.

Bartlett tells Sam that he is going to be President one day at one point in the series so there is hope
