Once you get into time travel it's best to relax your mind a bit and enjoy the show.

Don't you understand everything baked? Until you aren't baked anymore. I've solved and forgotten the world's problems so many times.

I wouldn't know. But I can't imagine that would make it any easier to understand.

I'll just say that you should watch it if time travel interests you at all, because it's extraordinarily well done. And don't try to overthink it while you watch it...that'll come later when it's still in your mind a few days later and you're trying to analyze everything and figure out how it worked. That's when you can hit up the charts and explanations and piece things together. Primer isn't just a cool movie, it's sort of a fun "experience," if that makes sense.

Here's the deal with Primer.

You watch it the first time and you get it by the end.

You watch it a second time and you get it in the beginning, then the end gets messy.

You watch it 3 or more times and your are confused each time.

I've seen it 6 times...I still can't figure it out each time.

What both of those graphs are missing is Abe taking a box folded up in the box then using that to travel to be before the first turn on of the first use, even though now it's not the first use because Abe went backward in time further.
