While Lionsgate will release the Rome-set action sequel John Wick: Chapter Two on February 10, 2017, those that can’t wait can get a sneak peak at the carnage Keanu Reeves will unleash in a new video (via Taran Tactical) showing the dedicated actor training for the title role. Check out the video below!
Besides Reeves’ title hitman, returning characters include Winston (Ian McShane), Aurelio (John Leguizamo), Hotel Manager Charon (Lance Reddick), Jimmy (Tom Sadowski) and the title character’s deceased wife Helen Wick (Bridget Moynahan). Also onboard the John Wick: Chapter Two cast as fresh faces are Morpheus himself Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix trilogy), Ruby Rose (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Riccardo Scamarcio (Burnt), Peter Stormare (22 Jump Street) and Common (Smokin’ Aces) playing the sequel’s main villain, the head of security for a female crime lord.
“In the follow up to last year’s adrenaline-fueled revenge and redemption thriller,” reads the sequel’s temporarily minimal plot synopsis, “legendary hit man John Wick is back.”

I kind of like Keanu Reeves.

Much better than I ever expected him to look doing that.

I thought he looked pretty badass myself.

He looked great in John Wick so I'm assuming John Wick 2 is going to be incredible.

That was legit, man. He moved well through the course and looked like he's been trained for a while. Between the fact that he is actually trained in martial arts and that he is actually trained in tactical firearms, I'm guessing he is probably the single most dangerous man in Hollywood.

i really do wonder how one of those guys could handle themselves in a real crisis
i know they're actors, but many of them are fricking TRAINED in some shite.

I'd want him on my side in a fight for sure.

Very cool. For those that don't know, I work full-time at a gun store while I'm finishing up school and I'm very active in the tactical training community. I'm trained in combative handgun, carbine gunfighter, advanced pistolcraft, and advanced carbinecraft. I will also be taking Armed Movement in Structures and a Night Fighter course later this year. I haven't taken a formal tactical shotgun class, but I've trained in it a lot as well
I can tell you guys that Keanu looks very adept. A lot of us in the LA tactical training community take classes over and over, and he looks like he would fit right in with us. That ghost reload he does in the 2nd shotgun clip is very smooth. If I had to criticize anything, it'd be his transitions. Great taste in guns as well (the shotgun he's using, the Benelli M4, is the king of tac shotguns.)
If any of you are interested in his shooting style in the 1st movie, look up Center Axis Relock. Hoping to take a class for it this year.
Cool vid, thanks for posting

No problem, bro. I didn't know that you were trained in all of that. That's pretty badass. I don't know much about tactical shooting, but I thought Keanu looked pretty awesome, as he does in the first movie and all of his action movies. You can tell he dedicates a ton of time to preparing for his roles. I can appreciate that. He's always impressed me in that aspect.

I kind of love the guy. He gave a lot of his matrix salary to the crew of the movie.
