Watching this movie today and was wondering what Gump was saying at the rally when that officer pulled the plug on his mic. Anyone know?

Edit:When Forrest gets up to talk at the Vietnam rally in Washington, the microphone plug is pulled and you cannot hear him. According to Tom Hanks, he says, "Sometimes when people go to Vietnam, they go home to their mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don’t go home at all. That’s a bad thing. That’s all I have to say about that."

Taking the whole of the movie into account and how the story progressed, yes, that was his son.

Was never fully certain if he was his son but he would've taken care of him regardless.

I know they want you to believe he was his son in the context of the movie, but it's still hard for me to believe Jenny wasn't pulling one over on Forrest yet again.
