I had no interest to see "Warrior" but gave it a shot due to reading some posts on here. I just wanted to give a huge "thank you" to those deserving individuals. I have not been that damn surprised and satisfied in a lomg time.

I'm curious why you had no interest it at first. Is it that your not to into MMA or you thought it was gonna be some cheesy below average film.

I am not an MMA fan but I respect the hell out of the sport. It stemmed more from wrongly thinking the film was going to be a testosterone fest. It was one of those times where you are thinking about how pleasantly surprised I was while watching the movie.

Tom Hardy has the ability to be something really special. I have liked everything he has done the more I watch his movies. He is great in this movie and his ceiling is sky high. I am really trying to keep it in check after watching this film, I liked it that much.

They marketed the movie to the Affliction crowd, and I'm sure they enjoyed it...but it scared off everyone else. Great movie that more people should have seen.

Was pleasantly surprised and entertained. Great movie. Nick Nolte is one of my favorite actors.

I'm so glad I went into that movie without knowing anything about it. Made it that much better.

I loved it too and I'm a big MMA fan and was curious to see peoples opinions who aren't into MMA why they didn't want to go see it. The whole testosterone statement I'm sure is shared by a lot of others who think it will just be some bloody cheesy fighting movie.

watching that made me wonder, "who the hell would want to fight MMA?" I know I'm just a pussy but that seems brutal and doesn't look like much fun.

For wrestlers it's a new and interesting challenge to go see how their skills would transition to competitive fighting. They really had no other place to go other than maybe the Olympics if they were good enough. You have to be a little crazy to do MMA or boxing because your usually not coming out unscarred. Even the MMA fighters are saying you need to be crazy to do MMA.
