Walking Dead actor gets a DUI

An actor on the popular Georgia-filmed TV series 'The Walking Dead' faces driving under the influence charges in Peachtree City.
Scott Wilson, 70, who plays the role of alcoholic farmer Hershel Greene on the zombie series, was pulled over by Peachtree City police at 2 a.m. on Aug. 18, according to an incident report.
The arresting officer said an anonymous tipster reported a possible impaired driver on Ga. 74 (Joel Cowan Parkway) near BSC Fields, the city baseball and soccer athletic complex.
The officer said he observed Wilson driving a black PT Cruiser northbound on Ga. 74 at about 70 miles per hour, which he wrote is "well above the posted speed limit."

I saw him walking around the set just last week. They are filming the show less than a mile from my house.

My pictures are worthless but I'll gladly post them. They keep things pretty tight around downtown (which is where they are filming). The only thing you can see are the extras walking the parapet of the wall with guns and cross bows. I've only seen three actors in Senoia (the place where they are filming) and they all appeared in and left my field of vision so quickly that I never had time to snap a photo on my cell phone.
The first actor I saw was Emily Kinney. She plays Hershel's youngest daughter, Beth. She was walking out of her trailer as we were walking by while on our way to lunch. Next I saw Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) just two or three weeks ago. He was walking across the road in front of me. It all happened so fast, all I could do was shout, "Hey Andrew!". He smiled and did a wave at me before moving away. I saw Scott Wilson (Hershel) in the Senoia Coffee Shop - located downtown - eating lunch. I wasn't going to disturb him by asking him to take a picture.
They've been doing a lot of action scenes here lately. You can hear machine gun fire and explosions echoing from downtown late at night when they are filming down there.

He's supporting cast on an AMC show. My educated guess is that he makes makes about $8,000 or less per episode and is smart with money (except for the boozin').
