Honestly, I'm not sure how interested I'd be to watch Voltron as a cartoon again. Most of the OS was during my "just got my DL and I have more important things to do, like hang around the mall" period, though.
It looks entertaining, but I'd be more interested in a nostalgic live action movie.

You need to support the Power Rangers movie. If they can be successful along with Pacific Rim's success, I have faith that some studio will decide Voltron is worth doing.

That did with the white hair will die. I don't recognized him from the old one, and the princess is not a lion flyer. Also that sword is wrong. The original sword is much more bad arse looking.

That's what I'm thinking... that guy dies or is captured and the princess takes his place... kind of like on the cartoon.

It was formulaic but glorious when I was 6. I'd watch a movie.

Well, it was cobbled together from two different shows in Japan and completely rewritten. So, give them a break for being formulaic.

I'll give it a fair watch. Was my favorite cartoon as a kid, even had the ballin arse toy. Which may be why I have a few qualms with the new design, although very miner. ex.WTF is up with Yellow Lion's under bite?

Very interested in watching this. My greatest Christmas present of all time is when I got the expensive DieCast set of all the Lions. Still have them in my folks basement. Still I loved that cartoon hardcore for about a year or two then I've never seen it again. Even YouTube clips.

So this dropped yesterday. Watched the first two episodes so far. Very well done. I like the origin changes and the animation is first rate.
