"The studio has asked me to release some very big Fast news," the actor wrote in a series of Instagram posts. "As most of you know I like to stay in character (for an unrelated film currently shooting) for the most part when given the opportunity to make magic. However, it was Toretto Tuesday and the studio gave me big news to share... So I will share it."

He then shared a post revealing the eighth, ninth and tenth installments in the series coming in 2017, 2019 and 2021.

I'm going to miss Paul but these flicks are always entertaining to me.

A great franchise that will always be a staple of my early teen years, but I think they should have stopped at 7 with Paul's death.

They could always CGI Paul into the movies.

I laugh, but this is one franchise that I wouldn't put that past them to try it...if it were possible.

The story of this franchise is amazing to me.

Started as some glorified B movie, became a popcorn guilt pleasure, faded into a joke, then roared back as a billion dollar legitimately great heist series.

It blows my mind that they accomplished that feat.

I saw the 1st one and thought it was terrible.

How has this movie been made so many times?

FF5 completely reinvented the series and is actually really good.

I was always amazed at how many people must have seen the first movie and immediately busted out the jeggs catalogue to buy faux hood scoops, bolt on fins and coffee can exhaust for their 93 civics.

I'll be pretty disappointed if the tenth one isn't called.

Are you referring to Tokyo Drift?

I thought the same thing at the time, but how they tied back the overall story back to that film was great.
