As great as Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones have been, Veep need not be overlooked in this awesome HBO Sunday night lineup.
Who else has been loving this season? I know some people here enjoy it but there is not enough talk about this show. It has some the best comedic insults on TV and the whole cast works really well together.
IMO I think it may be funnier than Silicon Valley, or at least more garner more, frequent chuckles while Silicon Valley provides some larger laughs.

yeah, veep is a very overlooked show
it is absolutely great, and I love a political show with no lean
even if she was on those god awful gun commercials

Needs more Jonah, Mike, Gary, and Kent and less of everyone else.
Kent: "I have always spoken in this tone of voice, even as a young child"

It's a great show. This season has been hilarious. The campaign stress let them really bring out alot of the characters.
I thought i broke my laptop last night when she walked in with the new haircut. I spit water all over it and my phone.
I can see that. It depends on your point of view and what kind of humor you like. Also, Silicon Valley is only in it's first season. But HBO is absolutely killing it right now.

I enjoy Veep. It is pretty funny, but the putdowns only go so far for me. I think what makes it really enjoyable is that being a comedy aside, it's a nice look behind the vale that most politicians live under. I really do think most politicians are totally self-centered jerkoffs like the character that Dreyfuss plays.
I remember the word was, after the first season came out, of how authentic it was. Like dead-on at creating what a cluster many offices are in Washington. This is both hilarious and a little depressing.

That was great. I think I lost it the most when her eye twitch distracted Maddox at the debate.

If you watch both that and house of cards you get a good view of what D.C. is like. Whether or not it's depressing depends on your point of view. For me, it has seriously made me question moving to D.C. for a few years.

That almost made me piss myself. Veep is on an all time great comedy roll right now. This season is probably the closest thing to the original Arrested Development run that's come around. I watch in awe of how smart it is.

I watch it for Ana Chlumsky's titties and rocking body.

The twitching had me rolling the other night. The episode earlier this season where she visited the computer company was one of my favorites.

I haven't seen Veep yet since I don't have HBO but plan to via Netflix. Anybody who is into Veep should check out the movie In The Loop which is funny as hell and available on Netflix instant. Both are by Armando Iannucci and supposed to be similar. In the Loop actually comes from The Thick of It, an excellent BBC show.
