Came across this series after ordering the Black Mirror series on Amazon. I thought about ordering the blu-ray on amazon. But apparently the disc doesn't come in a US region.

Damn, I thought this was about the awesome(ly bad) reality show. 
I kinda dig that premise though. Is it only on Amazon? (I assume yes)

It went longer than that.
Not much longer, though.
I think they went wrong with the host. Someone like Jeff Probst or TJ Lavin could have carried that show. Instead we got bizarro world. Several of the Utopians were interesting.

I was actually all about the show, although admittedly just the show and not all the 24-hour access bullshite. I didn't really care too much about any of that.
And JB, I think the UK DVD should work on your XB. I'm not positive but I feel like I've gotten an overseas DVD before and it played fine.

If any of you ever watched the Cutthroat Kitchen: Camp Cutthroat episodes they were filmed at the same ranch as Utopia. It was pretty obvious too... guess FOX owns that property and they wanted to recoup some of the wasted $$$$.

Yep. This is one of my all time favorite shows.
Earlier this year HBO hs ordered a full season from DAVID FINCHER to do an American remake. However, like most of his projects, there were financial difficulties I believe and the project has been scrapped. Really bummed because it could have been amazing. Nevertheless, the original lives on!
