Would this tv show prosper in today's landscape?
The show ran from 1989 to 1998.

I had a thing for Rhonda Shear as a kid for sure.

Nah. Stuff like Night Flight, Up All Night, and MST3K would have a tough time on today's cable. Too many similar options in a thousand places on the web.

An MST3K reboot is coming to NetFlix LINK /
But yeah, just like journalists are having a hard time competing against bloggers giving a similar product away for free, I imagine there are a ton of YouTube alternatives for snarky movie watching.

Loved loved loved Up All Night as a youngin'. Had a crush on Rhonda Shear, and I actually met her one late night at Morning Call. Gilbert Godfried had a funnier take one things than Rhonda.
I was also a fan of Monstervision.

Holy crap, according to wiki, she graduated from Loyola the year I was born. Pretty sure she gave me some early boners.

I loved it back in the day and the cheesy B movies they would show.
No way in hell it would happen today on regular cable.

I loved the program.
On Saturday night when it was gilbert, he wasn't as annoying as he usually played it up.
Found out about a lot of shitty movies which I liked because of that show.
The had the GOAT phone sex commercials back in the 90s on USA network too.

I watched it to see Rhonda Shear's boobs.

I have no idea what movie it was, but I was watching one night and there was a long line of guys with one girl standing there. One guy turned to her, "What are you doing her, this is the sperm bank?" The girl looked at him and gargled.

I didn't have cable as a kid so I only saw 'Up All Night' while at friends houses... But... My all time favorite (and I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet) is...
If not for Joe Bob Briggs and Monster Vision, as a kid, I would've never seen The Road Warrior, The Fly, Maximum Overdrive, Conan The Barbarian, Soylent Green, They Live, Red Sonja...the list goes on and on..
