I wasn't a big fan of this movie, but I can respect it for what it was. It had a very classic sci fi feel to it.

Kudos to Scarlett for doing a full nude scene when she is on the A list currently. Most actresses do something like this when they are just starting out (see Eva Green in The Dreamers) or when their career has started going down (see Meg Ryan in In the Cut).

I would not recommend Under the Skin to anyone. While Scarlett Johansson is more than attractive you could walk through a mall on a Saturday afternoon and see better looking women. Its the power of Hollywood to make us believe what they want us to believe that puts her on such a high pedestal.

My fault for not fully explaining I was making two separate observations. One on the movie, which I didn't care for, and the other on Scarlett's PR enhanced attractiveness.
The only movie where I can say I appreciated Scarlett Johansson's presence was A Love Song for Bobby Long.

I liked the way it was shot and thought the music was cool but overall the movie didn't do it for me, would not recommend.
