I don't see a thread for Two & a Half Men, but for those who have watched the first three episodes of the season, what are your thoughts? Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse after week 2.. It did. Walton is too immature and its like they try too hard to show exactly how immature he is. For example, that whole throwing food scene with that little girl was horrible.
The fact that he hooked up with Meredith was so far fetched that it was predictable. It just sucks all around which sucks because I really enjoyed the show before this season.

Did they change writers or something? I dont watch the show that often but caught the first 2 episodes this season and it just seems like they went super raunchy with the humor.

I think they are trying to overcompensate for the fact that don't have their main character.

The last few seasons have not been good. Losing Charlie didn't change much because Alan was the star anyway. Once Jake got older, the show lost something.

It is painful to watch. I keep hoping Charlie showsnup at the door with a dozen hookers from a month long cocaine infused bender and gets his shite back.

I think the character is played well because you are suppose to hate him, but it isn't a character that should carry the show in terms of it being successful.

I watched the first episode of the season just to see how they pulled off switching to a different leading character and if Kutcher could make something of the show. The whole show was pretty awful and haven't tuned back in.
I know the rating for the first episode were pimped as the best ever, but I think most viewers were curious just like I was. I think I read where their ratings are pretty much in the toilet now though. I don't see how anybody could watch that crap.

Allen's character played off Charlie really well, but without his character, Allen seems really out of place. And Walton seems like a very wealthy version of Kelso. The immature angle was a very bad play imho. Walton should have been a young rich and famous player type.

Charlie wasn't even acting. He was just playing himself.
Maybe they should have done a storyline where he had a sex change, and replaced him with Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton.

I'm embarrassed to even admit I've watched the first 3 episodes. I never was a fan of the show, just seen reruns here and there, but I just had to see how they were going to write Kutcher into the show. It's terrible, but almost like a train wreck you want to watch; and it's good for a laugh or two.

Unless they get off of the "everyone suck ashton's cock" kick they are on, this show can end tomorrow and i won't miss it.
Kutcher must have had it written in his contract that everyone in the show would have to drool over him or he wouldn't do it.

And his childish tone is getting annoying as hell. And last night they were reaching at the end when Allan was like "everything is going great for me" and you knew something was about to happen to him.. So what happens? He chokes on a chip. That was lame and just sucked..

I agree they should pull the plug now. Charlie made the show. With out him the show is nothing. Maybe more Berta can get it back rolling.
