Not to take anything away from the obviously great acting performances, but the writing, first and foremost, is what makes the show great. Of course, the directing, cinematography, music, etc. are all great as well.

not going to happen. these seasons are self contained stories. will be a totally new story , characters and actors each season. lIke a unique 8 hour movie each year. Love the format. It will be hard to maintain the quality though

Yeah, although NP did say that he maintains rights to the characters, and that he could conceivably do a feature film with them in the future (he was joking, maybe).

That's the same thing with AHS and they've kept a core of actors who have been in multiple seasons.
I just hope they do bc they're my favorite part of the show. Them in the car talking is greatness

AHS always said they would reuse actors in different roles whenever it got renewed.

I'll admit, I was interested in the show, but the first couple of episodes didn't draw me in and make me look forward to the third. The the last 15 minutes of episode 3 happened. That speech at the end with the beer can men gave me chills. Can't wait for tonight now.

The only solid season of AHS was season 1. I'm confident the rest of this season of TD will be great.

True they shouldn't be compared. But think some viewers are afraid that Season 2 will have a significant drop off if they are not able to sign the main cast or unable to get A-list actors to replace them.

Did anyone see the "Damien"-looking fella standing next to the handicapped eunuch guy at one point during the tent revival scene. Dude looked suspicious as hell.

Woody's character = double life, with a quick violent temper.
mcconaughey's character = observant and eccentric.
I think the new killer is Woody's character recreating the old killings. He's going to try to pin it on Mcconaughey's character for revenge.
